st. joseph michigan. the halfway point between our place in chicagoland and our family in michigan. no better reason to stop other than..... the amazing lake michigan beach. pretend "ride on" toys on every street corner, good food, ice cream and one really fun toy store.
we have stopped here many times on our way to and from michigan. and we are so happy that on our last trip "home" we decided ( very.last.minute.) to crash at a hotel so we could spend a day with makai at our favorite half-way point.
i cant help but think, that years from now, these simple little half-way point stops will make it into talks of " the good ole days" and "remember whens"
