a nap in momma's bed

waking up from a nap in momma's bed

we moved makai to his own bed
when he was 6 months old.
he was doing a lot of night waking and
no one was getting a good nights sleep,
so we made the transition from our bed to his own.
from then on he has always needed to be
in his own bed to fall asleep.
but today he refused a nap
so this momma gave in to those big blue eyes
and let him watch a cartoon in momma's bed.
he snuggled up to a pillow
and drifted to sleep.
i loved it
i cherished it
i  forgot how much i missed it
i hope he does it again!
