12 months

I can't believe my baby is one! This little boy has taught us so much and I love every little bit of him!!
I forgot to take his 10 month photo and never got around to writing about the 11th month....oops :)

At 12 months, Makai.....

* is walking like a big boy. Now that he can walk you will rarely see him crawl.
* is extremely independent. He doesn't want you to hold his hand, he doesn't want to sit on your lap, he wants to be free. Free to roam and learn and figure things out for himself.
* is sleeping from 7pm till about 6:30.
* takes 2 naps and day and occasionally will take 3.
* loves to eat, as always!
* says Mamma and Dadda but were not sure yet if he really understands what he is saying,
* still loves being outside and realllly loves the water.
* has been on a boat and a plane....he did not like the plane and the boat put him right to sleep.
* points whenever he wants something.
* is starting to mimic the things we do.
* dances.
* will babble uncontrollably. I wish I understood him because I am certain he has something important to say :)
