My baby, my little little baby is HALF WAY TO A YEAR OLD! I can't believe how fast my little man is growing up!

Isn't he the most handsome boy ever! I love how he is sitting like a frog next to his froggy friend!

From 5-6 months Makai.....

* is sitting up all on his own
* scoots a little when he sees something he really wants but usually ends up just going backwards :) Maybe he is directionally challenged like his Momma.
* loves eating his big boy food
* still likes to jazzersize while eating his bottle ( it feels more like wrestling alligators)
* goes to bed at 8:00 and sleeps in his crib but ends up in bed with Mommy at about 5 or 6 then goes back to bed for a couple hours
* is learning to drink from a sippy cup
* is laughing lots
* is getting more hair every day
* is wearing 9 month clothes
* is chewing things vigorously....hopefully he gets some teethers soon
* had his first overnighter at Grammie and Papa Smith's. Mommy had only been away from you for a few hours so I cried when I left you and called lots to make sure you were ok. You did GREAT.( December 31st - 5 months 3 weeks and 3 days)
* is starting to become more aware of Griffey cat and Weston dog. Weston even lets him pull his hair but its a fair trade off for Makai sharing his food!
