big boy bed

makai is getting too big for his mini crib and we catch him climbing out many times a night.
so, we have been working on transitioning to the big boy bed.
makai loves his crib so there has been a lot of convincing about just how great the big boy bed is.
there may even have been some bribing involved.

here he is sleeping in the big boy bed for the first time, yesterday. it was nap time and the dinosaur sheets were in the washer :)

today at nap time i heard him sitting at the door " i hear something paws, i hear something" is what he whispered when my squeaky slippers passed by. i checked on him a while later, after all had gotten quiet.
there he was fast asleep at the foot of the door.....
