christmas list

My Christmas list used to consist of baby dolls, Polaroids, clothes and toys. Now days my list looks a little like this......

1) drink hot chocolate- luke warm for makai of course - makai loved his chocolate and whipped cream!
2) christmas music dance party - my boys got moves I tell ya :)
3) watch a christmas movie - makai lasted about 5 minutes with the whole movie thing but was very excited about his first experience with popcorn!
4) go see christmas lights
5) play in the snow-build a snowman
6) read a story about the birth of jesus
7) help someone in need - i let makai be the one to put money in the salvation army bucket. little ones find fun and joy in the simplest things.
8) bake a christmas treat - we made nobake cookies,  a family favorite! makai is still a little young to help so he ate peanut butter from a spoon while he watched mommy bake.

9) go see santa

10) visit bronners

11) pick out a special ornament

12) do a christmas craft -we colored christmas pictures from the coloring book makai got from santa. makai colored for a while then went back to eating crayons.....I LOVE HIM!!

We have already checked a few things off the list and are looking forward to having fun with the rest of them. I can't wait until Makai is old enough to make his very own Christmas list. Yes, I'm sure he will have a list full of toys but Mommy is going to ask for another Christmas list too, one with lots of fun Christmas things he wants for us to do!!

Wow, that last line sounds a little Dr. Seuss-ish!
