little pieces & bits: first pumpkin patch

We went to a pumpkin farm this weekend and had LOTS of fun!

there was a pumpkin patch at the farm but these were more makai's size

which one will he pick????

my ~~baby~~ big boy and I with charlie brown. i'm trying to make it a point to get more pictures of the two of us. i feel like i am always the one behind the camera and i don't want to regret not having enough pictures of us once he is older.

i think i like candid shots A LOT more than posed ones. here is my boy doing what he loves....running away :)

we got to feed the giraffes!! i have never been this close to one, it was awesome! i just might have enjoyed it more than the little one.

daddy thought it was awesome too. makai wasn't so sure about the whole thing. i think he was just a little upset because he realllly wanted to eat those carrots haha. i'm not kidding, my son loves to eat!

this little town had a hay maze inside. nate took makai but turned around half way through. i guess it was a bit tricky, i should have known that from the mom who was freaking out inside.....

cute boy!

he carried the pumpkin around everywhere. little ones just really like things "their" size! I think I might let him color it with markers for halloween, just not sure yet if i want a rainbow colored baby...

we saw birds, foxes, toucans, monkeys. gazelles, goats, kangaroos, wombats and lots of other very other random animals. seriously, they had more interesting animals than our zoo!
