trains. shopping. eating on the street.

This weekend we decided to take the train into Chicago and do a little shopping.
Makai did well for his first choo choo ride.
Only a small amount of baby wrangling was involved.
We went at nap time, you can see his tired baby eyes.
The train station is 10 min. from our place and the ride into Chicago is only 35-45 min.
This little trip will be a weekend tradition for sure! 

We went to all our favorite stores that we don't have back home  in our old home.
CB2, West Elm, World Market.
Nate and I want these matching bikes, because we are cool like that!

We even stopped and got a bite to eat, on the street of course.
NYC Bagel Deli= Awesome!
Eating on the curb because there are no seats= Even Awesomer!

There was even ice cream involved.
I told you it was a wonderful weekend!
Did I mention yet how much we love Chicagoland :)
