Makai ( 1 day short of 10 months) had to have some general surgery done last week and we are sooo happy it's over. I had been praying and felt quite at peace but there was still that part of me that couldn't get over the idea of my sweet baby being under anesthesia. I'm just glad that since he is so young he had no idea what was going on. He had fun playing in the little bed with all the bars. He thought it was some kind of baby jungle-gym :) He liked seeing all the people coming and going and was such a trooper the whole time. Thank goodness he was happy because had he shed one tear I would have fallen apart. I was so proud of my big boy! He did great and by the next day he was back to his old crazy self.
yes, these pictures are blurry but all we had was a camera phone and a baby on the move!!

i loved his little baby gown. not sure if i was allowed to keep it but i did. one day when makai asks if he has ever had surgery i want to tell him about it and show him just how small he was. |
