5 months

Makai is 5 months and growing out of control!

This is the best picture I could get. Makai is trying to sit up on his own and was all over the place :)

From 4-5 months Makai......

* weighs 19.2 pounds and is 26 1/4 long. He is in the 95th percentile for height and right up there with his weight too. He is one big boy!
* has found his toes (4 months & 4 weeks)
* has learned to roll from back to tummy ( 4 months & 3 weeks ) but has already forgotten how to roll from tummy to back which means he gets stuck a lot :)
* was dedicated to God ( 4 months & 3 weeks)
* has been introduced to solid foods per our pediatrician. His first foods were carrots and bananas ( 5 months & 1 day). He didn't want anything to do with the nanners and made crazy faces with the carrots. The next day he ate ALL his nanners and wanted nothing to do with the carrots. Silly boy!
* is grabbing at his toys and is holding them in his hands.
* sat alone for a few seconds ( 4 months & 4 weeks)
* tries so hard to sit up on his own. He ends up doing some pretty intense tummy crunches with this effort. He even puts his elbows on the ground behind him....it is the funniest thing ever!I bet in a couple more weeks he will have a six pack :)
* has verrry dry skin.
* likes to scream while taking so he can hear his own voice.
* is laughing and even giggles a little from time to time.
* melts my heart with his smiles!!
* is getting more hair everyday.
* loves to be pushed around the house in a stroller.
