21 days...really? what? wait...no that can't be right!

I had my 37 week check up yesterday and I am dilated to 1 cm. Woo to the hoo! Actually this means nothing, I could stay at 1 cm for a long time and he could even still be late. I just like the fact that my body is responding to all the contractions I have been having. My appointment left me feeling crampy with even stronger contractions so I'm really not looking forward to the next one. I guess that means I'm not looking forward to labor either!

I can't believe how close we are, only 3 weeks until due day! Even though I have gotten sooo tired of heart burn, back pain, painful kicks to the ribs and staring into the bottom of our toilet bowl I think there is still a big part of me that will miss being pregnant. I'm really going to miss having him all to myself...go ahead, call me selfish :) Not to mention that the reality of becoming a mommy is starting to set in and I am a little freaked out to tell you the truth!

Ohh and these comics from babygaga.com crack me up. I think I have been in every one of these situations during this pregnancy....poor Nate!
